Our Practice A practice born from home, heart and hard work.

Dr P M Nkwana grew up in Jericho Village, where he attended both primary and high school. His roots in this community are not just biographical — they are the foundation of his philosophy: that every person, regardless of where they come from, deserves access to world-class dental care.

After completing his schooling, Dr Nkwana pursued his passion for dentistry at Medunsa, where he qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Therapy. He then advanced his studies at the University of Pretoria, earning his Bachelor of Dental Surgery — equipping him with the full breadth of skills needed to run a comprehensive dental practice.

In 1999, Dr Nkwana established his private practice, bringing specialist-level dental care back to his community. Over 25 years later, the practice continues to grow — driven by the same values of clinical excellence, community service, and genuine care for every patient.

Dr P M Nkwana is a clinician of exceptional depth — a man whose career began in the classrooms of Jericho Village and whose academic journey took him through two of South Africa’s leading dental institutions. He qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Therapy at Medunsa before completing his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Pretoria, building a dual-qualified foundation that informs everything he does in practice.

Since opening his private practice in 1999, Dr Nkwana has dedicated over 25 years to providing comprehensive dental care to his community. His clinical interests lie particularly in Paediatric Dentistry — ensuring children develop healthy dental habits early — and Orthodontic treatment, creating confident, well-aligned smiles for patients of all ages.

Dr Nkwana is also actively pursuing advanced knowledge in Dental Implantology, expanding the scope of permanent tooth replacement solutions available to his patients. He is supported in complex orthodontic cases by his in-practice partner, Dr Nkhumeleni, a specialist Orthodontist — giving patients access to specialist-level orthodontic care without leaving the practice.
